H.R. OWEN – OVER 70 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND HISTORY.
H.R. Owen has evolved into the Group it is today over a period of nearly 70 years.
Captain Harold Rolfe Owen opened his dealership, selling Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars, in 1932. The original business in Berkeley Street has since relocated, and been joined by many other franchises over the years. It has also experienced a number of owners, culminating in the purchase of all the H.R. Owen dealerships by Malaya Group plc in 1994.
Malaya Group has since attributed the H R Owen name to the majority of its prestige franchises, adopting the H.R. Owen name for the Group in 1997.
